What a week it has been! We have a refrigerator bursting with apples and apple sauce from last weekend’s orchard adventure and two humans too tired to consume them. It has been a week. Recovery is on the horizon though and I could not be more excited. Mr. Pedantic and I may have just booked a trip for December and those electronic airline tickets represent a much needed respite from life.

Three words. Three very important, possibly life-changing words, Peppermint Bark Oreos. Ohhh yes.

This woman was and is my spirit animal. Green bean casserole will always be my favorite part of Thanksgiving. Yes, even over the turkey. I am obsessed. And though I proudly make Alton Brown’s non-canned version (I mean, of course I do), I will never turn down a green bean casserole of any origin.

Is it pathetic that I am dying to purchase one of these subscriptions for my dog for Christmas? Don’t answer that.

I discovered this makeup brand at Sephora last week and was trying to purchase this balm in Werk as a blush, but they were sold out in store and online. I am keeping my eye on it though. Have any of you tried it? I love their policies and that so many of their products are multi-purpose.

What are your plans for this last October weekend? I cannot believe how fast this month has gone. I’ve got a unicorn cake to bake and at least one very messy burger to consume. Happy Friday!!
