Tonight I am hosting yet another supper club and I have been making preparations all week long. These events are always so exhausting, but I can never resist scheduling another one. There's such a rush when it comes to large dinner parties and I relish every moment.
I had been dragging my feet in regards to spring, but the urge finally dawned on me last weekend and now my house smells of citrus-kissed florals, and flowers and greenery fill every corner.
This chicken sounds absolutely incredible! If only I could get the mister on board with olives. I will never understand that aversion.
How fabulous is this packaging?!
Petit fours are one of my favorite indulgences and I am really eager to try making them myself. Spring project?
Dying over this concept! I am definitely going to be making these for "sister night" on Monday! If we dig the combination, I am most certainly going to be tackling a lemon version for spring.
These little rolls make such a lovely breakfast. Sabine and I have been enjoying them all week long.
Loving this candle right now.
Wishing you all the most wonderful weekend!
Sincerely,
Pedantic Foodie

We are exactly four days away from our little love’s delivery so I decided that it was about time I shared a glimpse of our nursery.
In all the manic that is our world right now, the simple pleasures of life have become all the more valuable to me. Pleasures of warm days, patios, tall glasses of lime-spiked ice tea, and a recklessly indulgent snack that tastes of summer bring a sense of familiarity to an altogether unfamiliar existence.

I love that my generation has taken a hold of snacks and made them into not only a socially-acceptable mode of daily nutrition but a hallowed one. If you're not entirely sure of the current snack pseudonyms, see; charcuterie, tapas, tastings, flights…
