Mr. Pedantic and I have been enjoying a much-desired vacation this past week. Board games, amusement park-trotting, and incessant laughter has consumed most of this past week with my side of our family and it has been a fantastic time to remember how special time away really is, and to fall back in love with our lives. That always hits me on vacation. As much as I enjoy getting away and traveling, I always find myself missing parts of my routine, my own home, and my furbaby sooner than I would have expected - just another reminder that my everyday life is more than satisfying.

I have a crush on a toaster. An insanely expensive, yet breathtakingly beautiful toaster. These are my problems.
I would not mind getting my hands on a pint of tahini gelato.
Long-necked avocados both disturb and intrigue me.
This article, or rather, PSA made me very happy because I recently bought myself a set of these containers and while a plastic container cannot quite solve all of your problems, it solves a fair amount of them. These are my new kitchen must-have and here is why.
